Troy Notary & Signing Services does not sell consumer information to third-party businesses. We share Commenter avatars with Gravatar. Comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. And opt-in cookies, if cookies are enabled.

We collect the following Consumer Information: Name, address, phone number, email address, website, marketing information on our contact forms, through phone, email, or direct communication. We use this information for invoicing, advertising, and marketing purposes.

Loan Signing: We provide a loan signing (closing) service of mortgage loan documents. We protect client information within our possession. We do not share or sell this information. Following the general best practices in industry (e.g. signing services, title, or lender’s closing instructions), all data files are deleted immediately after the loan signing. If a loan signing is cancelled or halted, we keep possession of the files until we shred and dispose of them. We do not retain loan signing consumer data or documents. As a service provider for loan signings, we can only delete the consumer information received as stated above. More sensitive information requested for deletion must be made with the signing service, title company, or lender.

Right To Correct: After proof of identification using the information supplied by the consumer on our website, you may request the correction of information listed under the CCPA for right to correct. As a service provider for loan signings, we can only correct the consumer information received as stated above. More sensitive information requested for correction must be made with the signing service, title company, or lender.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data
